Terms and Conditions

Hire-age of Limousines is with full acknowledgement and agreement of the following terms and conditions:

 

Payment and Booking Policy

1. Hollywood limousines requires a major credit card to process on-line reservations. All online reservations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the pick-up time. For shorter notices please contact our office on (09) 274 0315.

2. A deposit of 50% of the total quoted amount MUST be paid within 24 hours to confirm the booking.

3. Full quoted amount MUST be paid within the 14 days prior to the reserved date.

 

Accepted forms of Payments

• CREDIT CARDS This form of payment is preferred as we are able to process this transaction over the phone contactless. This payment option is recommended when paying less than 7 WORKING DAYS prior to your booking. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD.

• DIRECT DEPOSIT If you choose to process your payment using this method, please contact our office for further information.

• CASH PAYMENTS Cash payments can be processed at our office, Monday to Friday via APPOINTMENT ONLY. Deposits needs to be made within 24 hours to secure your booking and balances must be paid within the 14 days prior to the reserved date.

 

Refund Policy

1. A 50% deposit of the total quoted amount is required to reserve a vehicle. Please note the deposit paid is NON-REFUNDABLE under all circumstances.

2. For changes to vehicle reservation dates, the 50% deposit can be TRANSFERRED to secure new dates. Please note the new date MUST be within one year of the original booking date.

3. For bookings paid upfront and in full:

• Cancellations must be made 14 days PRIOR to the reserved date. The 50% deposit portion of the payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.

• Cancellations made WITHIN the 14 days prior to the reserved date will see NO REFUND issued.

1. A cancellation that has occurred due to a COVID 19 LOCKDOWN in New Zealand is eligible to a 50% refund of the amount paid at the time of booking for the reserved date ONLY during the lockdown period.

 

Airport Transfers

1. Clients may incur additional charges for incoming flight delays. An $80.00 minimum charge for every 15 minutes of delay will apply after the first 15 minutes.

2. A surcharge from $50.00 will be applied to any trips outside the CBD area.

 

Beverages and Food on board

1. Any consumption of food and/or beverages must be made aware to Hollywood Limousines at the time of booking.

2. Hollywood Limousines, by law, is NOT permitted to provide any alcohol beverages to our clients, even those of legal age.

3. Alcohol will not be consumed by any clients under the age of 18. If this is found, the hire-age of our services will be terminated IMMEDIATELY and no refund will be given.

4. Clients will be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by the consumption of food and/or beverages. This includes but is not limited to chewing gum damage, beverage (alcohol and/or other) spills, food spills, vomiting. Damages of this nature will incur a cost of $450.00.

5. Smoking of any substance at any time is NOT permitted in any of our vehicles.

 

Damages and Liabilities

Damages

1. Any damage of the hired vehicle caused by the client/s will incur a repair and/or replacement cost of $450.00. Damages include but are not limited to breakage of any electronics (this includes lights, monitors, cd/dvd player, radio) and destruction to the interior and/or exterior of the vehicle.

Liabilities

1. Hollywood Limousines will not take any responsibility for any personal items that are left in the vehicle during and/or after completion of the vehicle hire period.

2. Hollywood Limousines shall not be held responsible for late arrival caused by but not limited to; acts of nature, traffic delays, breakdown, incorrect pick up and drop off information provided by client/s and any situation beyond our control.

 

General Policy

1. Hollywood Limousines reserves the right to substitute the vehicle (including the use of a different coloured vehicle) at its own discretion

2. All vehicles are quoted subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates are subject to change without notice.

3. In the event any part of this contract is declared unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

4. All passengers agree to behave in an orderly and well-mannered behavior. Hollywood Limousines reserves the right to expel any person from the vehicle and/or terminate this contract in the event of a violation of any of these conditions by any passenger. In the event of such early termination, NO portion of the hire-age fees shall be refunded.

 

If the vehicle hire is to transport a minor/s under the age of (18) eighteen this agreement must be signed by either a parent or legal guardian over the age of (18).

 

I declare that I am over the age of (18) eighteen and I sign with full agreement and understanding of the terms and conditions described above. I accept full responsibility for other persons in my party.
